South Africa Mobile Operators
The country has 45 million subscribers in total, or an 92.15% penetration rate. [202] (2008). By the end of July 2009 it was estimated that there were some 54.0 million mobile subscribers in South Africa, giving South Africa a 13 percent market share of the estimated 415.3 million mobile subscribers in Africa.[3]
